Great Wall Chinese Buffet

Yesterday, lunch time we go to Great Wall Buffet right by Lakewood, its my first time in this restaurant and I'm loving it. I had shrimp, rice, veggies, meat, chicken and egg noodle soup. Everything in here taste so good, thats why some of my friends would love to come by in this restaurant.

I told my hubby about this, and he said we go there sometime soon. I really love seafood, makes my eyes big and excited when I saw the shrimp.

Feels like I'm having a fever

I am not really feeling good today, when I get up this morning I am so grumpy... It's like I just want to stay in bed. Maybe because my monthly bwisita is coming. My eyes is so sleepy when I'm in the studio working... so bad. We had Quiznos today for lunch, I was thinking If I'll have my fave chicken carbonara sandwich I'll feel better but NOT!

Just got home from studio, maybe I'll take a quick nap and put some visine in my eyes.. maybe I'll feel better. My whole body is hurting, badly need a massage again.... huhuhuhuhu! gasto nasad atong shonana anih... talk to you later my fwends....

Walking.......

We did some walking tonight, after dinner. Speaking of dinner, mmmmmm! yummy yummy thai house restaurant. Well, its supposed to be our Thursday dinner but hubby is craving for Red curry and Pad see yew noodles....

We always try to take Abbey for walk so she will be use seeing other people or to be with some other dogs. She is still have that puppy attitude that'll go jumping and jumping everytime she meet other people.

Rocky Road for dessert!

Just me and Abbey this time, my hubby is having a session till 10pm. I am so full with our dinner, now I'm having Rocky road ice cream... well, just get bored and nothing else to do... so my mind says go grab some ice cream.... hek hek hek! Abbey had a dessert too! I give her treats for dog...

I am online in my YM thingy but nobody wants to chat with me hek hek hek, poor girl! I'm waiting for some " grasya " again..... i hope... i hope... i hope!

It's an early Supper!

I already made a supper today, for my hubby will be in the www.coloradosound.com to have a session. I just made steamed rice and veggies. We grab some baked chicken in Kingsoopers too! I am actually excited because I really love chicken! Waiting for the steamer to beep-beep so we can eat.

Yesterday was so fun! I really enjoyed the pool burfday party... though its a little bit gloomy outside, but If you will just stay in the pool, you are so warm and I'm loving it!

We got home almost 9pm, cause we drop off a friend in Lafayette. My hubby already had his dinner. Been so nice out girls!

That is what my honey told me, when I almost fall down the stairs lastnight, think its the result of drinking baileys.... We sleep so good lastnight, been raining all night long till today. Which is really good for the plants and grass. Wondering if it will still rain, I plan to attend a pool party tomorrow, hope sun will show up! Hubby check the weather forecast tomorrow which is like 70's, but still cloudy and rainy.

Getting up so easy today, watching the Olympics again. We had hashbrown, bacon, eggs and orange juice for breakfast. Really good! We will go to Costco later, doing some laundry now.

A drink for me and my hubby, mine is Baileys and White Russian for him. I had tried his drink while where in Manila but I just dont like it!

Well, we have Pasta and crescent for dinner... taste so good tho. Thats one of our fave, simple cooking

We watch the Olympics tonight too, and Michael Phelps made it again for Gold Medal. Oh my goodness, I am now on e of his fanatic.. hek hek hek!

Is it Fall or Summer?!

Oh my goodness! It is so chilly outside.. its like fall or winter! Everytime I let Abbey out, I need to go downstairs with her, cause for sure she will not go pee-pee.. maybe she's little bit scared of raindrops Its so chilly, I got goosebump! hek hek hek..... Missed my hubby now, he's in the studio working till 4, anyways just an hour away then he'll be home.... Need to turn on the heater now... bRRRrrrrrr! talk to you later my fwends.....

Veggie Korma and spicy Chicken Curry

We had our dinner in Jewel of India, one of our fave! Some people dont like it because of the spicy's that they used, but we love it! My hubby had veggie korma and mine is chicken curry. After my hubby's session today, he called me up to get ready for dinner outside. While we're on our way, we had three choices of where to go, ZO's, Thai House or Jewel of India.... I said, well I missed Jewel of India honey, so its granted! hek hek hek hek!

A very happy tummy! Finally home, and watch the Olympics, USA did so great! The gilrs made it to Gold and Silver medal for gymnastics, awesome! While we're watching got a call from a friend, and the chikahan started. While I'm in the phone, hubby decided to grab some hot fudge sundae in dairy queen... so I told my friend whose in the line that I better hang up.... just craving for an ice cream!

We made it to dairy queen, we're lucky they are still open. It's like 9:30 pm when we're heading there. We just want to grab one hot fudge sundae but the guy made a mistake for our order. Hubby just want it without peanuts, but the guy in dairy queen put some peanuts on it. So he said, just take that one and I'll give you another one. hek hek hek hek! It is too much for us, having one each cause it's too sweet but yummy!

A very nice night, nighty night my fwends... think its gonna rain tonight, little bit chilly outside. It's like fall is coming.... I'm not ready yet for some snow....

When a yellow lab and yorky puppy crossed path!

Huge disaster when this two puppies meet when we're Kansas. Well, we already talk about it that there will be a disaster if Abbey and Andee ( Dad's dog) meet. At first, of course! they are barking at each other and chasing.... Abbey is a great chaser, but she's a scaru cat! hahahahaha she is just not used to be with other dogs though.

Abbey is 8 months old now, eventhough she's not listening to us sometimes.... we still love our Abbey Mae. She is still had that puppy attitude. When she'll be with other dogs, she will really try to smell 'em and then bark. Just normal for a dog.

Andee, 3 years old yorky. She is really well trained by Dad, and she's older than Abbey. Andee is triple smaller than Abbey BUT she's a lot tougher than her. Everytime she will bark, Abbey will be very scared hahahahaha. When I give Andee some pets, Abbey gets jealous and barking at me and Andee.... Well, fwends these are tha dog that me and my hubby LOVES! Hope you like them too!

It's a Floating Cabin!

That's what Dad Jack ( Dad-in-law) told us, this is his floating cabin. Very cool boat, air conditioning, very tiny restroom, cool fridge, very comfy bed, and a little dining table. When Dad bring us to his boat which is just 10 minutes away from tha camper. It's so amazing, people just hang thier boat in this area, thought they called it as boat docking area. But Dad never take his boat in the ocean or lake. He never do that, that's why he just told us this is his floating cabin!

He always spend his weekend in this boat and camper, which is really cool! While we're on our way to Wilson's Lake, I was thinking why Dad love to spend his weekend in this area. And when the time we reach the lake, oh my goodness! It is so fantastic! It feels like your in the one Island of the Philippines, its like your facing a big ocean ( but its just a lake ) it's huge lake... and me and my hubby are loving it! Lots of moisture, sooo refreshing. We will be back in here sometime soon.

home sweet home from vacation

Finally and thank GOD we made it home safe from our vacation in Kansas... We really enjoyed even thoug we just spend 4 days in my parents in law's hometown. Been in a car for almost 6 hours road trip... I will show you the pictures soon my fellow blogger. I just can't make it tonight 'cause the bed and the pillows are calling me.. hek hek hek! been a long time, haven't check my bloggy thing. So talk to you later ha! Nighty night....

Recreation Center in Westminster

After my work in the studio today, me and my hubby check out the two recreation center here in Westminster. The first one we check is just a walking distance from home.... They have swimming pool, raquetball court, sauna (steaming room), and working out gym. This one is pretty near, and its $40 per month for those who are residents.

We go to the other recreation center which is still in Westminster, this one is bigger than the other and more amneties. While we're roaming and checking around, I saw some ladies doing the aerobics and I love it! I told my hubby to enroll me in aerobics.... It'll be awesome cause while doing the aerobics you'll be dancing too.... it'll be good for the body....

This coming weekend, we will go for a road trip going to Kansas. We will visit my parents in law, and help Mom for some chores. We will stay in Dad's camper on saturday night with our Abbey. And Dad will make a steak for me! yeeepeeeyyy.... I am really craving for a steak....

We will be in Kansas till Tuesday.... I am not sure if I can still do my blogging thingy when we're there. My sister in law and her kids will be there too.... It'll be a great vacation for us! Till next time my fellow blogger....

Miniature golf and go cars....

Late this afternoon, my hubby bring me to have some fun. I told him I wanna try the go cars and we finally did it! We play "pot-pot" too... The place is so gorgeous, their flowers are so fantastic! I'm wondering how they take care of theirs, its really awesome! For dinner, we had fettucini alfredo and a toast of bread... our fave! Better go now fwends, we plan to play backgammon in bed... see yah around!

Looks can be deceiving....

As saying goes by "You cant judge a book by its cover". But seriously, we can never really tell about a person from what you merely see in the outside. Looks can be deceiving. Sometimes people are judged by the way they look without thinking that finding a person with good heart is more important than finding a person with the right look.

At certain times I am honestly guilty too about sizing up people on the basis of external appearance. But now that im getting older doing so doesn't feel right anymore. Along with it also comes the acceptance that while not all of us are visually stimulating this isn't something that showed being a person to the pits of despair.

Most likely, one might just be even more gifted with something else, Intelligent perhaps, An excellent singing voice or a razor sharp with. Like everything in life, no one has it all. we all have our strengths and different weaknesses. We all are gifted, special and unique. Its up to us to appreciate what God given to us.

We dont need to be everything for everyone. Besides there will ALWAYS be people who will take us for who we are and these are the PEOPLE who are truly matter.. As a rule of thumb says:

"TREAT EVERYONE AS YOU WOULD WANT THEM TO TREAT YOU"...

Mile High Music Festival 2008

How fortunate we are to have such a massive promotions/booking company like AEG righ here in Denver. Besides the vast number of immense concerts and artist and they bring to the Front Range, the team at AEG has scored big with fans by bringing the biggest music festival to ever land in Denver.

The Mile High Music Festival, the festival being held on July 19th and 20th at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, will bring prime national names in music to join together and create a concert that will most definitely go down in Colorados's rich musical history. Artists such as Dave MAtthews, Tom Petty, John Mayer, Jason Mraz and the Black Crowes are all sheduled to headline thi enourmous performance. People at AEG are all to be congratulated on giving the Colorado music aficianado everything they could ask for all in one fantastic setting.

What really makes The Mile High Music Festival such an attractive event is the local contingency that AEG has brought on board.

Yen-yen...

She is my one and only neice, her name is Czyenn Ghyle Enerio Igcalinos, we used to call her Yen-yen, turning 8 this coming August 16th. She's in 2nd grade right now in a Science Class Section ( Special Class) at Jasaan Elementary School. I remember when she's still in her toddler years, she always ask " Tita Shawie why is that.... why is it.... why why why.... the word why maybe a natural question that a kid asked. So sometimes, I get mad when she can't stop asking questions over and over again. I just told her, " it's nap time yen-yen.... better go to bed now".

She's always in an honor roll in school, my older bro (not her dad) always love to send her in a private school cause it's really worth it. She is so smart and studios, she loves to read, draw and learn some other things. Her parents trained her really well, Yen-yen is very talkative too. I think thats very normal to those kids who are smart enough to understand things.

When she's in her Nursery and K1.... she's the 1st honor in the class. Yen-yen was the Salutatorian on her K2, she didn't make it to a Valedictorian because she's new to that school and thats one of the rules.

Now she's in her Elementary age, she still make it into the honor list. If she can make it into a Science Class section, that'll be awesome cause the DECS will be the to send her into highschool. A Science Class section is those kids that has 90-95 average.

We love our Yen-yen so much and we want to give our very best to her. When I told her that I'm going to USA and lived in there. She told me (naughty ways), " You can go Tita Shawie, so I can use your bed and pillows". lol she just love staying and hanging out in my room. Everytime she's at our house she always let me bite her on her chin.... though she's hurting, but she just dont mind cause she knows I like it! hehehehehhe She is such a nice daughter, neice, grandaughter and a friend.
I missed you lalang! You should study hard.. love you Yen-yen..take good care always!

my day....

Today we get up sooo late.. taking our time and sleeping more. We go to bed lastnight like almost midnight, me and my hubby been talking about how are days goes. His session did great last night and my day is awesome. I eat lots of Pinoy food in my friends house for her surprised birthday party to her hubby. Meet some new Pinay in there too! And some of them are teasing me, because just me and the other Pinay who doesn't have a baby yet, well for me and hubby... it's not yet the right time ! Or Is hould say, I'm not yet ready! lOl.... Raising a kid specially here in America is not that easy.....

My body is little bit tired cause I have my monthly visitor, just partially clean the house while hubby is trimming our plants in the frontyard. We did some grocery today and grab lunch outside. When we get home, we decided to take a nap. My hubby had a session again tonight till 11 pm, but he rented some movies for me. We rented horror movie titled " The Eye", I saw the commercial of this one and I think I'm gonna like it. My hubby says you are a sweet girl but you like horror movies lOl.... I just told him, well I dont know honey, I just love watching that kind of movie.

It's dinner time now, better feed our abbey and get the rice cooking! I'll have steamed rice, chicken curry and "uyap" for dinner.... leftover from my friends party. Yeeeppeeeyyyy!!!! ssooooo talk to you later my fwends.... have a good night!

Welcome 2008!

Goddbye and Thank You 2007, Welcome 2008! I think I like spending Christmas and New Year more in Pinas, cause in there I have so much fun. In here its different, very much different! Well, New Years Eve... my husband had to work, but I am with him celebrating. Me and the studio office manager and her husband, enjoy our New Years Eve at Dazzle Restaurant in downtown Denver.
